What this policy covers
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit pelari.co.uk or interact with us in connection with our services. It applies to all visitors to our website and to anyone who contacts us or engages our services.
We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What data we collect and how
Data you provide directly
When you book a free consultation via the booking tool embedded on our website, the following information is collected on our behalf:
Your name
Your email address
Your answers to any qualifying questions on the booking form
Your chosen appointment date and time
When you communicate with us by email, we receive and store the content of that correspondence including any personal data you include.
Data collected automatically
Our website (pelari.co.uk) is built on Framer. Framer may collect basic technical data about your visit including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is collected by Framer's infrastructure and is subject to Framer's own privacy policy, available at framer.com/privacy.
We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics platform on our website. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
How we use your data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
To manage appointment bookings. When you book a call, we use your name, email address, and booking details to schedule and manage that appointment, send you confirmation and reminder emails, and prepare for our conversation.
To communicate with you. If you email us or we correspond with you in connection with a potential or active engagement, we use your contact details and the content of that correspondence to respond to your enquiries and manage our professional relationship.
To deliver our services. If you engage Pelari as a consultancy, we will process personal data as necessary to deliver the agreed services. This will be governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement where required under UK GDPR.
To comply with legal obligations. We may process your data where necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Our legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
Legitimate interests — for managing enquiries and bookings from prospective clients. We have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us to discuss our services, and this interest is not overridden by your rights and interests.
Contract — for processing data necessary to deliver services where we have entered into an agreement with you.
Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
Booking tool
Our website uses a booking tool to manage consultation appointments. When you book a call through our website, you are interacting with that platform directly. It acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes your booking data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate transfer mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses are in place to ensure your data is protected to UK GDPR standards.
How long we keep your data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Booking and enquiry data from prospective clients who do not proceed to an engagement is retained for 12 months from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted.
Data relating to active or completed client engagements is retained for 6 years from the end of the engagement in accordance with standard UK business record-keeping requirements.
Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to an active or potential engagement and deleted when no longer needed.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
We share your data only with the following third parties where necessary to operate our business:
Booking platform — for appointment scheduling, as described above.
Framer — as the hosting platform for our website.
Our accountant and legal advisors — where necessary for compliance and business administration, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, except where required to do so by law.

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
The right to access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
The right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.
The right to restrict processing — you can ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
The right to data portability — you can ask us to provide your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
The right to object — you can object to our processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as our legal basis.
The right to withdraw consent — where we rely on consent as our legal basis, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@pelari.co.uk. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These measures include using secure email, limiting access to personal data to those who need it, and using reputable third party services with appropriate security standards.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we take data security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
