Fix the infrastructure

Free the people team

The workarounds holding your HR together are costing more than anyone has calculated. We implement the right platform, design the processes around it, and build the automation that makes manual work disappear — so your People team can do what it's actually there for.

What we do!

HR infrastructure isn't one thing. It's the platform your team uses every day. The processes that run underneath it. The automations that connect it to the rest of your business. And the people who know how to build all three so they work together. That's what we do.

How we work

A process built around getting it right, not getting it done.

Understand before recommending

We start by mapping what you have — every tool, every workflow, every manual workaround your team has built to cope with a system that isn't quite right. Most HR technology problems are process problems wearing a technology mask. We find the real issue before we suggest anything.

Build what fits, not what's fashionable

We're vendor-neutral. We don't have a preferred platform or a commercial relationship that shapes our recommendations. We design the right system architecture for your specific situation — the platform, the integrations, the automation layer — and we tell you exactly why, before we build anything.

Stay until it's invisible

The measure of a good implementation isn't a clean go-live. It's whether your team stops thinking about the system entirely — because it just works. We stay through launch, through the first month of real use, and through the inevitable edge cases. We're done when it's invisible.

About Pelari

Built on the belief that infrastructure should disappear.

Pelari was built by people who have worked inside the problem. Across operations and people functions at businesses of different sizes and stages, we've seen the same thing repeatedly — HR systems that were chosen quickly, implemented without adequate process design, and left to calcify into something the team works around rather than with. We started Pelari to fix that properly. Vendor-neutral advice, hands-on implementation, and automation that makes the result last.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with businesses of any size and sector where HR infrastructure has become a problem worth solving. That might be a 30-person company building its first proper HR system, a 200-person business untangling years of disconnected tools, or an established organisation that needs the automation layer it never built. The work looks different depending on your stage — but the approach is the same.

Which HR platforms do you work with?

We have deep implementation experience across a wide range of HR platforms — including HiBob, Personio, BambooHR, Rippling, Workday, and Charlie HR on the core HR side, and Teamtailor, Ashby, and Comeet for applicant tracking and recruitment. On the automation side, we work with Make.com, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, and the native automation features built into most modern HRIS platforms.

We're vendor-neutral — our recommendation is based entirely on your situation, not on commercial relationships with specific vendors. If you're working with a platform not listed here, that's not a barrier. Tell us what you have and we'll give you an honest assessment.

How long does an implementation take?

A straightforward implementation for a business of 50–100 people can take as little as four to six weeks. More complex projects — multiple integrations, payroll migration, custom automation builds — can take longer. We scope the timeline precisely during the advisory phase, before any implementation work begins. We don't start the clock until we know exactly what we're building.

Do we have to start with an advisory engagement?

No. If you've already decided on a platform and need an implementation partner, we can start there. If you need automation built around a system that already exists, we can start there too. The advisory is useful when there's genuine uncertainty about the right direction — it's not a prerequisite we impose to extend the engagement.

How does pricing work?

Advisory and implementation work is fixed-fee — scoped after an initial conversation based on the platform, the complexity, and the size of your business. We don't work on day rates, because day rates create the wrong incentives. The retainer is a monthly fee scoped to the level of support you need. All pricing is discussed during the introductory call and confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

Yes. We're a UK-registered consultancy and most of our clients are UK-based, but we work with businesses internationally. All of our work is delivered remotely — discovery, project management, and implementation are handled digitally as standard. Geography has never been a barrier to getting this kind of work done well.

What happens after go-live?

Every implementation includes a post-launch period where we stay close — resolving issues as they surface, making configuration adjustments, and ensuring the system is being used as designed. After that, clients who want continued support move to a People Ops Retainer. Clients who don't need ongoing support get a full handover and the option to return when they need us.
